Blumhouse’s First Female Directed Movie Drops Trailer

If you’ve been keeping up with the world of horror, you might remember last October when Blumhouse CEO and Producer, Jason Blum insulted nearly every female horror fan. Blum was asked about the lack of female directors in his roster of films, and his response left people wanting when he said he just didn’t know any. After a wave of backlash about the improbability of a man who is VERY well connected in the horror world and whose JOB it is to know as many filmmakers as possible, to not know any female filmmakers, including the woman who was his personal assistant for several years.

Regardless, there was a very quick turn around and Blumhouse now has TWO whole movies, directed by women, coming out in the near future. The first being Sophia Takal’s remake of Black Christmas, the next being Chelsea Stardust’s Satanic Panic. Below is the first look at Takal’s movie, BEWARE: the trailer gives ALOT away.

[New Video] Mother’s Who Maim – Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy and its Tragic Victims

I have a new video up! This is another true crime video, inspired by the Hulu series The Act and the passage of sexist, Draconian, anti-choice laws in Georgia and Alabama. I wanted to explore the bizarre and tragic condition called Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy, which is now being called something else. The cases of mostly women, poisoning and harming their children, scamming their communities and faking pregnancies is unfortunately not as uncommon as we think. I only spotlighted a few, but I had many more to choose from. What makes people do this? Fake a child’s illness, or put their own children in harm’s way, for what? Attention? Money? Validation? I have no answers, but maybe you will after watching my video.

[New Video!] Top 10 Unsolved Serial Killer Cases

Here you go! I told ya’ll that I would be back to making YouTube videos. I just needed some time to get myself together. This one is a sort of remake of a video that I made last year, that was not very good. People kept commenting on how bad the audio and video was but I already knew that. It was just a practice run and somehow it managed to get over 200,000 views lol. I hope I can make another success video like that again.

I hope you like the video, I hope it’s better than the first. I would also love to hear what you guys are interested in seeing in future videos.

[Video] Sigourney Weaver Plays Ripley and Spoofs ‘Aliens’ on “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee”!

In space, no one can hear you scream…about the importance of journalism.

Sigourney Weaver made headlines this past Friday when she made a surprise appearance at the “Alien Day” encore of a New Jersey high school’s Alien play, but that wasn’t the only awesome thing Weaver did for “Alien Day” this year. She also appeared in a skit on “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee,” spoofing Aliens and reprising the role of Ellen Ripley!

[Trailer] The Addams Family Animated Movie

I’m not alone in saying that the Addams Family from the 90’s is probably one of my favorite movies ever and the sequel Addams Family Values is one of the few sequels that is almost better than the first.
Some 20 years later and we are still making and sharing memes about the family. I aspired to find someone that would love me like how Gomez loves Morticia, ardently, obsessively and loyally. It hasn’t worked out for me but I’ve seen it work out for others. I’ve even seen the Broadway play. I stan.
Cut to 2019 and we now have the trailer for the new animated movie. I’m not the biggest fan of this 3-d animated style, it reminds me of cheap, patronizing Dreamworks movies. But I do love that they characters are modeled off of the original Charles Addams’ comics that were published in the New Yorker. That way they circumvent the outright comparison to the original movie, even though comparison will be unavoidable. The film’s voice cast is an amazing featuring Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Chloë Grace Moretz, Finn Wolfhard, Nick Kroll, Bette Midler, and Allison Janney.

The trailer is posted below. What do you think? Will you be watching?

[Video] 1st Episode of Jordan Peele’s Twilight Zone

The Twilight Zone has been regarded as one of the most influential television series on American television of all time. It’s introduction of science fiction and fantasy storylines motivated a generation of creators and future filmmakers to make countless works. But what people don’t remember is how the show was not as popular with critics or audiences. Hopefully history won’t repeat itself and people will gravitate to it again. In the first episode, Kumail Nanjiani stars as a comedian who will do anything for fame, ANYTHING. The episode brings back that classic Twilight Zone element of morality. The original show’s episodes never were about space travel or alien invasions or psychic children, they were always about the choices that people make and the ramifications of those decisions. The new show looks like an antidote to the nihilistic views of Black Mirror with a dash of relevant social issues.

I’m still not convinced about the whole CBS All Access thing. Heres hoping someone I know will let me use their account.
